Mask‑driven surface deformation with an Attribute VOP subnetwork
Overview
A moving sphere “paints” an area on a grid. That painted area gently ripples with some natural noise. We soften the edges, keep the effect subtle, smooth the result, and export it as EXAMPLE_OUT.
What happens
- • Start with a grid and add a bit of detail
- • A sphere moves across it and creates a soft mask
- • The mask is blurred so the transition looks smooth
- • Inside a small node group we add gentle, wavy motion driven by the mask
- • Finally we lightly smooth the mesh and send it to the output
